Maud Street Makeover

Purchasing a new home in a beautiful Chicago neighborhood, this client had an underwhelming kitchen in the lower level of their home that needed much love and functionality brought to the space. Using Haas inset cabinetry in white brought much needed light and brightness to the dark space. Adding a mudroom set up to the left and a bar/serving area to the right of the newly designed fireplace brought cohesiveness to the entire lower level. Always loving to add at least one piece of our custom woodworking to a project, a custom mantel and trimwork around the fireplace along with a custom hood, were the perfect additions to the already beautiful cabinetry that we designed for the room. And, we always love a client who wants to have fun with their space and doing an island in Windy City Blue brought in that fun pop of color.

This client later returned to us when they were ready to add more work to their home, having us redesign their master bathroom, in which we again used our Haas inset cabinetry to achieve the amazing transformation.  Adding another element from our custom woodworking shop, we added a sliding barn door to their upper level, giving the homeowner much needed privacy to their very open concept home.”
