Palatine Cozy Church Kitchen
We are always up for exciting new challenges and when a thriving church in Palatine came to us to update their church’s kitchen, we were excited to take on the challenge. With all of the exciting events they have going on at this church as well as the times of ministering and serving their congregants, the very small, cramped, inefficient and dated kitchen that they had was in need of a major overhaul. We brought on architect, Michael Menn to help design the new structure of the space as well as Scholl Construction to build out the new, larger space created by removing a wall between the kitchen and a storage room. We had fun working with key players at the church to create a space that perfectly met their needs. Using our Haas cabinet line in a shaker door style in their Barnwood finish on the perimeter and Slate for the island, we made sure every cabinet had a purpose and had interior features that brought ultimate efficiency to the space. We gave them a HUGE island with Mockett pop up outlets that created a perfect space for spreading out when preparing meals, holding classes or putting together meal packages for their homeless outreach. We worked with Grand Appliance to pick out the perfect set of appliances for their needs and incorporated an ADA compliant sink area. Our suburban installer, Hargrove Construction did an amazing job of bringing our design to a beautiful completion.
